Margaret Frances Hahn Bulford

Margaret Frances Hahn Bulford, 92, of Old Forge, passed away Friday, May 29, 2026, at Oak Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Taylor, where she had resided for the past year. Born in Noxen on March 30, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Cleeta (Schenck) Hahn.


Margaret was a faithful member of Moosic United Methodist Church in Moosic. Throughout her life, she worked in several local dress factories and in food service, retiring from Valley Vending. After her retirement, she continued working part time at the Moosic Deli. Above all, she will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose love, kindness, and steady presence touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Lula Jean Martin, Naomi Crawn, Esther Thiel, and Audrey McCawley; and her brothers, Alvin, Harold, David, Wesley, Thomas, and Richard.


She leaves behind her loving children, Barbara Kubilus and her husband, Walter, Thomas Bulford, and Michelle Murphy; her sister, Eleanor Homschek; her cherished grandchildren, Thomas, Christopher, John, Joseph, Wally, Nicole, and Amanda; as well as several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom will hold her memory close in their hearts.


Margaret’s family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Oak Ridge Healthcare Center for the compassionate care, kindness, and support shown to her throughout the past year.


Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning, June 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Moosic United Methodist Church, 609 Main St., Moosic, with Rev. Michael Shambora officiating. Friends may call for visitation on Wednesday morning at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.


Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, Elmhurst.


Arrangements are entrusted to Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.
