Marguerite Wickizer, 86, formerly of Duryea, left this world peacefully on March 18, 2021 at the Riverstreet Manor Nursing Home, Wilkes-Barre where she was a resident. She was born in Duryea on April 5, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Harold and Grace (Weathers) Wickizer.
Marguerite was a member of the Brick United Methodist Church, Duryea. She worked for many years in the local garment industry and retired from the Brooks Pants factory, Old Forge.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Joan Noakes and brothers Charles, and David Wickizer.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Wickizer and his wife Sandra, her granddaughter Michelle Maier, and her beloved best K9 friend Bella.
Marguerite’s family would like to thank Dr. Elizabeth Gernhardt and the Nurses and nursing aids
of the Riverstreet Manor Nursing home for their kindness, compassion, and care that they showed to Marguerite and her family.
Funeral services will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
