Michelle Lewis Tabor, 50, of Center Valley, PA, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024, at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City, New Jersey.She was born July 6, 1973, and was the daughter of Willard “Buff” and Linda (Babcock) Lewis, Montrose.
Michelle was a graduate of Montrose Area High School, class of 1991, where she was an active member of the Montrose Marching Unit as both a trumpet player and drum major. She had always been very proud of her hometown and the small community she grew up in. She then graduated from Penn State University in 1994 and was always a loyal supporter of the Nittany Lions as well as the New York Giants. As an avid runner with an interest in business, Michelle became co-owner of multiple Curves for Women franchises in the Lehigh Valley and later was employed by several corporations in sales. In addition to running, she also enjoyed photography and spending time at their beach house in Ventnor, NJ.
Michelle is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Floyd and Millie
Babcock and her paternal grandparents Willard and Mae Lewis.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Dr. Richard
Tabor, her son Jonathan Perkins, of Center Valley; stepchildren, Stan Tabor (Alysha Nurina), Mitch and Kayla Tabor, Cassidy Tabor and Savannah Tabor. Also surviving are her sisters, Lorraine Lewis (John Lester), of Montrose and Jennifer Palmer and husband Kevin, of Roaring Brook Twp.; nieces Bryn and Charlotte Palmer and nephew Kevin Palmer, Jr.

Family and friends may call for visitation from 2pm – 4pm on Saturday, March 16th 2024, at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea, PA. Private services will be held at a later date.
