Patricia Ann Insalaco Weidlich, 81, of Pittston, was sent to the big casino in the sky on Friday, December 6th, 2024. She passed on her own terms, peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. Patricia was born in the Oregon section of Pittston on March 8th, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marion (DeLuca) Insalaco.
She was dedicated to her family and friends tirelessly and effortlessly. She was a true friend and loved by all those that encountered her and shared life with her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the only man she loved, her husband of 42 years, James F. Weidlich, who joined eternal life on November 12, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her brother Carmen Insalaco, whom she missed and loved dearly.
She is survived by her four favorite sons: James, Jr., Joseph, Barton, Brian and his companion Erica, Pittston, loving daughter-in-law, Kimberly; grandchildren, Joseph (Amber), Ryan, Jonathan (Nicole), Kirsten (Jack), Portia (Andrew), Sage, Nicolas, and Rhinada Weidlich. Patricia was also blessed with the latest addition the “Caboose”, her great-granddaughter Everly Weidlich. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be privately held at a later date.
Arrangements are made by Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.
Pat was a great woman and I feel blessed to have known her and to have spent so much time in her company, in her kitchen while she cooked amazing meals, having conversations in her living room and at her holiday table. Pat was an inspiration to my mother while she was going through cancer treatments, their phone calls meant the world to her. Pat, give my mom a big hug and kiss for me.
To all the Weidlichs, I am so very sorry for your loss. May your beautiful memories give you peace at this time.
