Paul G. Cawley, 61, died 16th May 2021 at his home in Duryea after a short illness. His funeral services will include a private ceremony with immediate family with internment at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Cemetery, Duryea.
Paul was born on 19th November 1959 in Pittston, PA to Margaret and Paul A. Cawley of, Duryea. He attended grade school at Holy Rosary in Duryea and High School at Seton Catholic, Pittston. After graduation, he was employed at Schott Optical Glass, Duryea and then pursued a career in real-estate. He was briefly employed as a real-estate agent until becoming a successful real-estate broker. His career spanned more than 20 years and he was recognized as one of the most successful real-estate brokerage firms in Northeastern PA. In addition to a successful real-estate brokerage career, he was a martial arts instructor. He was the proud owner of two karate schools located in both Pittston and Old Forge. He achieved a rank of 6th degree black belt and personally instructed hundreds of students over a 25-year career. Also, he achieved other significant professional milestones including national professional speaker, personal development coach and co-authorship of “The Road to Success” with best-selling author Jack Canfield.
He is survived by his father Paul A. Cawley of Sumter County, FL, and brother Michael J. Cawley, sister-in law Angela Delnevo Cawley, and nieces Ashley and Madilyn Cawley of Royersford, PA.
