Rita McLaughlin

Rita McLaughlin, 81, of Oakwood Terrace, Moosic, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
Born on January 14, 1945, in Montclair, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Vito and Jean (Ryan) Liberato. Rita was a 1963 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School and later graduated from Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in New Jersey.
In October 1966, she married the love of her life, Frank McLaughlin. They shared many happy years together until his passing in 1993.
Rita was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend whose greatest joy came from her family. She is survived by her son, Paul Mclaughlin of Wharton, New Jersey; her daughter Cindy Fuller; son-in-law, Michael Fuller; and her beloved grandson, Michael Francis Fuller, all of Avoca, PA.
The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Oakwood Terrace for the kindness, dignity and care they provided to Rita during the final chapter of her life.
A celebration of life gathering will be announced by the family.

Little Rita had a heart of gold.
She was beautiful on inside and out
And she also had a great sense of humor her love for her family was inspirational and she is sadly missed
