Robert “Bob” Camasse

Robert “Bob” Camasse, 67, of Pittston, passed away on Friday, July 2nd, 2021, at home after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. He was born in Pittston, PA on February 24, 1954, and was the son of the late Carmen and Micheline (Benfante) Camasse.

Bob was a member of Our Father’s House Church, Scranton. He was a 1971 graduate of Pittston Area High School and a 1982 graduate of Luzerne County Community College, where he earned a degree in electronics engineering. Bob was employed by Tobyhanna Army Depot for 37 years, where he worked as an electronics engineering technician.


He is survived by his wife Karen (Vaughn) Camasse, daughter Kristy Rosiak and her husband Ed of Avoca, his four grandchildren, which where the joy of his life: Karamia & Gerianna Fath, Dupont and Eddie & Ella Rosiak, Avoca, and his brothers Frank, Sr. (Marie), Pittston and Leonard, Wilkes-Barre, as well as several nieces and nephews.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Joyce Fath, who was waiting at the gates of Heaven to greet him & show him around and by his brother, Carmen and sister, Diane Pacovsky.


We would like to thank Pastor Bob Walls, Dr. Guy Fasciana and the staff from Compassionate Care Hospice for the guidance & care given to Bob during his illness.


Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, July 10th at 12:00 pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea with Pastor Bob Walls of Our Fathers House officiating. Friends may call for visitation on Saturday, July 10th from 10:00 am until time of service.
