Robert C. Webb

Robert C. Webb, 81, of Glendale, passed away on Friday March 1st 2024 at his home.  He was born in Moosic February 28, 1943 and was the son of the late Milo and Verna (Scherer) Webb.


Robert was a graduate of Moosic High School, class of 1960.  He then joined the US Navy and served from 1960-1964.  He was employed by American Can located in Minooka then sought employment at the Tobyhanna Army Depot where he retired with over 30 years of employment, while employed at the Army Depot, he re-enlisted into the U.S Air Force reserve in 1984 having served until 1991.  Robert served during Operation Desert Shield/Storm.

 

Robert was a member of the Moosic Lodge #664, he enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish the Susquehanna River, most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, his friends and his dog Chloe, Robert will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Bernadine Wzorek Webb who died December 7, 2018 and his identical twin brother Bill Webb.

 

He is survived by his son Robert Webb, of Old Forge his daughters, Cheryl Bullaro and her husband Tom of Naples Florida and Cindy Esgro and her husband Dominick of Covington Twp.  Also surviving are his grandchildren, Robert and Nicholas Webb, Dominick and Thomas Esgro, his great grandchildren twins Xander and Colson Webb, his daughter-in-law and caretaker with whom he resided with, Kathy Webb and many nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be privately held at the convenience of the family.

 

Arrangements are made by Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.

It was my honor to have served with Robert. He was proudly there when his country needed him.
