Ronald Partash, 87, of Pittston Twp., passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 5, 2025. He was the loving and devoted husband of the late Carmela Simone Partash, with whom he shared a life full of love, strength and dedication. 

 

Born on May 24, 1938, Ronald was the son of the late Andrew and Mary (Mishkula) Partash. He graduated from Wilkes-Barre Township High School and upon graduation he followed his passion for the automotive industry where he was admired for his ingenuity and special skill set in high-performance and custom mechanical work. He retired from Keystone Automotive where he flawlessly maintained their fleet of trucks for many years. Ronald was hardworking and approached life with integrity, determination and a deep sense of responsibility.

 

Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carmela, and his son, Christopher Partash. 

 

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Mary Ann Sutkowski and husband, Stephen Sutkowski, Jr.; his son, Joseph Partash; his grandchildren: Stephanie Sutkowski, Kimberly Blundin and husband, Kyle Blundin, Lindsay Meyer and husband Brian Meyer, David Bonomo and his great-grandchildren: Jaxson Blundin and Olivia Meyer. 

 

Ronald will be remembered for his hard work, wisdom, strong values and deep love he shared for his family. Ronald’s life will be celebrated with a private viewing on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 8:30AM at St. Joseph Marello Parish Church, 237 William St., Pittston, followed directly by a mass at 9:30AM officiated by Fr. Joseph Elston.

 

The family would like to send a special thank you to the wonderful team at Allied Hospice, Wilkes-Barre, who took such special care of Ronald during his last few days. Your kindness and level of concern was greatly appreciated.

 

Arrangements are made by Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.
