Shirley Baldauff, 89, of Moosic, passed away on Saturday November 23, 2024, at Regional Hospital Of Scranton. She was born in West Avoca, April 13, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Florence (Mullaney) Karsko.
Shirley was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Old Forge. She was a graduate of Moosic High School class of 1954. Throughout her life Shirley worked for various local businesses for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her infant son Phillip.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 69 years Willard “Bill” Baldauff, her children, Bill Baldauff and his wife Louise, of Old Forge, Patti Rosentel and her husband Jim Jr., of Bear Creek and Jerry Baldauff and his wife Heather, of Covington Twp. Also surviving are her 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren her sister Joan Chisdock, of Moosic and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis TN 38105 or to CHOP of Philadelphia 3401 Civic Center Blvd. Philadelphia, PA 19104.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 27th at 10:00am at Nativity Of Our Lord Parish Church, 127 Stephenson St. Duryea, with Fr. Michael Bryant officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 4pm-7pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc 255 McAlpine St. Duryea.
Family and friends are asked to go directly to the church on Wednesday morning for the mass, there will be no procession from the funeral home. Interment will be held at St. Nicholas Byzantine Cemetery, Old Forge.
