Stanley Joseph Chesniak, 74, of Pittston Twp., died unexpectedly at his home on March 15, 2022. He was born on July 25, 1947 and was the son of the late Frank and Josephine Klimek Chesniak.
Stanley attended Sacred Heart of Jesus parochial school, Dupont and was a graduate of Northeast High School, Duryea. He worked for over 30 years for Leslie Fay and retired from Nature’s Way Water Company. Stanley was a member of the Dupont Polish Club and the Rams Club, Dupont. He was best known for being an avid hunter and fisherman. Stanley was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings; John, Joseph, Frank, and Walter Chesniak and Cecilia Molewski.
Stanley is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joanna Urbanski Chesniak; his daughters Marie Chesniak Timinski and her husband Mark Timinski, and Sandra Chesniak Shannon; and grandchildren Jessika and Makayla Timinski and Taylor and Ryan Shannon.
Private interment services will be held at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Avoca.
