Sylvia Nkirote Naitore

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Sylvia Nkirote Naitore, age 27, who passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025. Born in Kenya on February 11, 1998, Sylvia was loving, kind, lively, and vibrant, touching many lives with her warmth and compassion. She was educated in Nakuru and graduated from the University of Nairobi. She moved to the United States in 2021, where she worked at MOHELA, Wilkes-Barre branch.

Sylvia was a gifted and independent fashion model whose natural sense of style and elegance shone effortlessly. She was a member of LCBC Church, Wilkes-Barre.

She was the beloved daughter of Catherine Naitore Lindsey and stepdaughter of Robert Lindsey. She was the cherished sister of Ronniel Magana Naitore of Nakuru, Kenya, and Marklewis M. Naitore. She was sister to her adopted brother, Francis Masete of Uganda; and step-sister to Jessica, Mellysa, Robbie, and Daniel Lindsey.

Sylvia was a beloved niece to many aunts and uncles and a favorite cousin to numerous family members. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Geoffrey and Charity Mbijiwe, and her paternal grandparents, David and Susan Muketha.

Memorial service details will be announced at a later date. Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home in Pittston, PA. Arrangements are by
