Todd Jeffrey Romanczuk

Todd Jeffrey Romanczuk, 53, of Sweet Valley and formerly of Duryea, passed away unexpectedly on May 29, 2026, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Scranton on September 13, 1972, Todd was the son of the late Eileen Romanczuk Walsh and was lovingly raised by Robert and Roseann Erfman.


Todd attended Pittston Area High School and spent his working years as a heavy equipment operator. Throughout his career, he was employed by Bejeski Construction, Linde Corporation, American Asphalt, and most recently Latona Trucking Inc.


Todd was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and generously gave his time for many years as a junior football coach with the Duryea Wildcats. Above all else, he cherished time spent with his family and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.


In addition to his parents, Todd was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Erfman.


He is survived by his wife, Laura Stevens Romanczuk; their children, Marc Romanczuk and his wife, Richelle, of Duryea, Jordan Romanczuk of Duryea, Angelina Romanczuk of Duryea, and Isabella Romanczuk of Duryea; and by Sarah Hauze and their children, Ivan Romanczuk and Sage Romanczuk, both of Sweet Valley. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Aurora Romanczuk and Jameson Romanczuk of Duryea; his sisters, Rosilyn Galea and her husband, Frank, of Olyphant, Emily Romanczuk of Florida, and Brandie Colianni and her husband, Jeff, of Nanticoke; his brothers, Robert Erfman and his wife, Pam, of Moosic, Shawn Erfman and his companion, Mary, of Avoca, and George Coggins of Scranton; as well as many nieces, nephews, and foster children.


A celebration of Todd’s life will be held at a date to be announced.


Arrangements are entrusted to Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.

Cherish all the memories,everybody has a story about being with Todd!! from Pops roller rink,to the school bus going to West Avoca, and walking to Randy Kline's house. Then Todd introducing me to Bobby at Germania picnic. all the trouble we all used to get into! We love you all, This is definitely a tough loss, gone way too soon.😢
