Vincent W. Magraner

Vincent W. Magraner, 57, of Dupont passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 15th surrounded by his family. Vincent was born on April 23, 1964 and was the son of the late Carole Concert and the late Arnold Magraner.

Vincent was raised in Avoca, PA. After attending Pittston Area High School, he worked for many years in the construction industry.


Vincent loved Penn State football, customizing motorcycles, his beloved corvette, and classic rock, specifically Van Halen. He loved traveling, spending time with his family, especially his grandson Jayden, and playing his guitar. He was truly one of a kind and his heart was larger than life. He was the best father, grandfather, and friend and will be forever missed.


In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Edward Concert, and his grandmother Eva Mock.


Vincent is survived by his loving daughter Danielle Magraner (Eric) of Spring Brook Twp.; his son Anthony Magraner of Scranton; his grandson Jayden Mozeleski; his brothers Eric Magraner (Veronica) of Old Forge, Bruce Hines (Jennifer) of Tampa, FL., Greg Concert (Bethann), and Wesley Concert; his sister Tara Hines, and the mother of his children Carol Bogaski. Vincent is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.


A blessing service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 6pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea with Fr. Michael Bryant of Nativity of Our Lord Parish Church, Duryea officiating. Friends may call for visitation on Saturday evening from 4pm until time of service. Interment will be privately held at the Langcliffe Cemetery, Avoca.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105

I recently ran into my old friend Vinny. He was funny and he was genuine. We laughed a talked. I was so happy to see him. To his family, please accept my deepest condolences at this time. May the Lord comfort you all. So very sorry to Vinny's grandson ♡ Vinny Rest in Peace Friend. Save me a seat.
