William “Bill” Jasuta

William “Bill” Jasuta, 63, of West Pittston and formerly of Moosic, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Birchwood Healthcare and Rehab Center, Nanticoke. Born in Scranton, April 16, 1957, he was the son of the late Vincent and Dorothy (Swieboda) Jasuta.

Bill was a 1975 graduate of Riverside High School. He worked for 29 years for the Tandy Corporation (Radio Shack), and then worked many years as a self-employed Electrician at T & B Electrical.


Bill was very proud of his sobriety and worked with many people who faced similar challenges. He was also a classic car collector and a member of the Villa Capri Cruisers Car Club. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.


He is survived by his sisters Terri and her husband Eldie Franchetti, of Avoca and Patricia and her husband Anthony Esposito, of Bridgewater, MA. Also surviving is Roland Williams with whom he resided as well as his nephews.


A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 10:00am at Nativity of Our Lord Parish Church, 127 Stephenson St., Duryea with Fr. John V. Polednak officiating. Interment will be held St. Mary’s of Czestochowa Cemetery, Moosic. If

attending funeral mass please be mindful that masks and safe social distancing are mandatory per CDC guidelines.
