Margaret T. (Knopp) Ostir, 91, of Moosic, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, January 5, 2026. She was born in Duryea on March 4, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret (Walukonis) Knopp. Margaret was a graduate of Duryea High School. She worked for many years at JoAnn Fabrics in Avoca before later retiring from her career as a professional limousine driver for the 286 corporation, Taylor and for Gilbride Limousine Service in Pittston.
