John Miles, 75, of Cape Coral Florida, formerly of Avoca, passed away on Monday, December 24th at the Hope Hospice Center, Cape Coral, FL. He was born in Scranton April 18, 1943 and was the son of the late Joseph and Helen Reilly Miles. John was a member of Queen of the Apostles Parish Church, Avoca. He was a 1961 graduate of South Catholic High School, South Side, Scranton. John was employed for over 27 years with the Conrail Railroad. He retired from the Tobyhanna Army

John Joseph Miles, 27, of Avoca died on Thursday, September 6th from injuries sustained in an accident on railroad tracks. He was born in Scranton July 8th, 1991 and was the son of the late Christopher Miles and Agnes and Paul Vermac of Moosic. John was a graduate of Riverside Jr. Sr. High School. He was employed by Besko Media and loved his job. Johnny was a kind, thoughtful man. Everyone he loved, he did so madly. His heart was so big it couldn’t be contained in his chest
